December Update

December brought a demanding stretch of hockey for the Vipers, highlighted by tournament success, statement wins, and teams finding ways to compete through injuries, short benches, and high-level opposition. From championship performances to gritty bounce-back efforts, December showcased resilience, depth, and continued growth across the program as teams pushed through the holiday break.


U10-1 Red

Win Streak & First Place Momentum

U10-1 Red closed out December on an absolute roll, earning back-to-back home wins over the Jr. Crusaders (2–1) and Wizards (8–2) to extend their winning streak to six games and secure first place in the standings. The group has rediscovered its aggressive, high-energy style of play, combining strong defensive effort with timely scoring. This team heads into the new year full of confidence and momentum.


U12-1 Red

Breakthrough Winter Win

U12-1 Red earned their first win of the winter schedule with a strong 2–1 victory over the Spitfires during the holiday break. The team played disciplined team defense, capitalized on scoring chances, and received excellent goaltending. Despite facing tough opponents throughout December, the group showed clear progress and proved they can compete with top teams when playing their game.


U12 Major-2 White

Heroes Tournament Champions πŸ†

December was a standout month for U12 Major-2 White, who went undefeated to capture the Heroes Tournament Championship over the holiday break. The team played with energy, focus, and consistency throughout the weekend, showcasing excellent teamwork and composure. A well-earned title and a major highlight of the month for the program.


U12 Minor-2 Blue

Resilient Bounce-Back Win

U12 Minor-2 Blue responded well after a tough matchup, earning a 2–1 win over the Bay State Breakers. Strong defensive play and excellent goaltending paved the way, with Livia Foti standing tall in net and earning Player of the Game honors. A great example of resilience and effort paying off.


U13-1 Red

Shutout Victory

U13-1 Red kicked off the post-holiday schedule with a 2–0 shutout win over the Islanders, demonstrating strong defensive structure and composed play in all three zones. The win highlighted the group’s ability to lock things down and capitalize on opportunities.


U13-2 White

Holiday Wins & Tournament Grit

U13-2 White had an impressive holiday stretch, starting with a 2–0 win over the North Suburban Wings. The team followed that up by stepping up to a higher division at the Islanders Tournament, where they battled through every game with a short bench and showed steady improvement throughout the weekend. A strong display of perseverance and team chemistry.


U14-1 Red

Competing Through a Heavy Schedule

U14-1 Red faced a challenging December schedule and closed the month with a competitive 2–1 game against the NE Generals, highlighted by excellent goaltending and strong two-way effort. Players continued to step into new roles and positions, gaining valuable experience.


U14-2 White

Defensive Effort & Holiday Tie

U14-2 White earned a solid 0–0 tie against the Maine Gladiators during the holiday break, showcasing strong defensive structure and teamwork. The group also battled hard in a competitive matchup against Crimson Pride. December provided valuable lessons and strong defensive moments heading into January.
