Summer Update
Summer is in full swing, and the North Shore Vipers are making the most of it both on and off the ice! Our Summer Skills Program is off to an incredible start, with players from all age levels showing up each week ready to work hard and elevate their game.
We’ve been honored to welcome special guest coaches Alex Carpenter and Ella Cedrone, who have brought elite-level experience, energy, and motivation to the ice.
Alex Carpenter is a Team USA Olympic silver medalist, a World Champion, and one of the top players in professional women’s hockey. She currently stars in the PWHL with New York and continues to be a role model and trailblazer in the sport. Her knowledge and intensity offered our players a rare opportunity to learn from one of the best in the world.
Ella Cedrone, a North Shore Vipers alum, is now playing college hockey at Nazareth College. She returned to the program this summer to coach and inspire the next generation of Vipers. Her journey from Viper to college athlete shows our players what hard work and commitment can achieve — and it’s always special to welcome alumni back to the ice.
In addition to our weekly skills sessions, many Vipers have been hitting the tournament circuit, competing in high-level summer showcases and tournaments across the region. These events give our players valuable opportunities to apply their training, develop team chemistry, and gain critical game experience in competitive settings.
We’re incredibly proud of the effort, focus, and growth we’ve seen so far this summer. Whether during skills training or tournament play, our athletes continue to represent the Vipers with pride, determination, and heart.
Stay tuned for more updates as we power through a strong summer season!
